Chief Network Officer
Chris Morris is the Chief Network Officer at 24/7 Mid-Atlantic Network. As Chief Network Officer, Chris’ focus encompasses all aspects of company operations including network planning, establishing long term business plans both fiscal and operational, customer relations, contract creation and negotiations, as well as interaction with all legal personnel including corporate, customer and third party entities. Chris’ other roles include team building with the responsibility of hiring and maintaining all operations staff and ensuring all aspects of company operations perform efficiently, productively and with continual fiscal responsibility.
Well recognized in the telecommunications industry, Chris has had an extensive career in all areas of the telecommunications field. Prior to 24/7 Mid-Atlantic Network, Chris served as Vice President and Chief Operations Officer for 24/7 Cable Company. Chris implemented operational budgets and corporate structures that ensured the stability and progression of the company’s financial future. One of his noteworthy accomplishments is the turn-key construction from conception to completion and customer turn-up of over 300 miles of Fiber Optic network.
Previously, Chris was the Director of Operations for 247 Cable Company and LAI Construction Services Inc. He was responsible for Network Build-outs including the simultaneous construction of a fiber network for a prominent national wireless carrier and regional CLEC.
Chris also mastered the role of Project Manager during his years with Arbros Communications, a regional CLEC with facilities and offices in various states across the Northeast and Mid Atlantic Regions. While at Arbros Communications, Chris was tasked with overseeing a $120 million dollar long haul fiber optic network build connecting Northern Virginia to Manhattan to Pittsburgh.
Chris holds a Bachelors Degree in English from the University of Delaware and remains an active member of the Alumni Committee.
